The Procurement Problem
From 2012 to 2013, our founder worked alongside businesses and agencies that were drowning in disconnected systems. Opportunities, suppliers, and data all existed—but the relationships between them did not. Those years made the core problem impossible to ignore.
2013–2018
The Dining Room Table Lab
Between 2013 and 2018, our dining room table became a lab. Nights and weekends were spent mapping relationships by hand, turning family conversations with MaKayla and Keegan into early models of what Procurrio would one day become.
2013–2021
Years of Real-World Testing
From 2013 through 2021, we tested these ideas with roughly 1,800 businesses across regions and industries. Those years of real-world work proved that the framework could handle the complexity of actual procurement and economic ecosystems.
2015–2023
The Patent Moment
In 2015, after MaKayla asked, “If nobody else is doing this, shouldn’t we protect it?”, we began the patent journey. MaKayla never had the chance to see the patent granted; she passed away before it was officially awarded. Eight years later, on May 9, 2023—one day after her birthday—the patent was granted, honoring her insight and formally recognizing the Procurrio framework.
Founder Perspective

While MaKayla passed away before we were officially granted the patent, her spirit remained our guiding light through the final hurdles.
